Our Story
SkinMirae started in a two-bedroom apartment in Jumeirah Village Circle, on a kitchen table covered in wavelength charts and clinic receipts.
Layla spent six years as a treatment nurse in an aesthetic clinic off Jumeirah Beach Road. Every week she watched the same women come back for LED sessions at AED 500 to 700 a visit, see real results, and then stop coming when the budget ran out. The light worked. The price model didn't.
Sara grew up in Sharjah, trained as a product engineer and spent her twenties testing consumer electronics for a distributor in Jebel Ali. She knew exactly what was inside the cheap LED masks arriving by the container load: single-wavelength diodes, no output testing, no certification, and packaging that promised the world.
The two met at a friend's iftar in 2024. By the end of the evening they had agreed on one thing: nobody was building light therapy for the way skin actually lives here. Not in the UV index of 11 that hits Dubai in July. Not in air conditioning that runs 18 hours a day. Not with hard water, dust and humidity that swings from 25% to 90% across the year.
So they built it. Eleven prototypes, two rejected suppliers and one very patient dermatologist in Dubai Healthcare City later, the SkinMirae Advanced LED Light Therapy Face Mask went through CE testing and launched in 2025. The Name
Mirae (미래) means "future" in Korean — a language that has given the world some of its most thoughtful skincare philosophy. We chose it deliberately. Because everything we do at SkinMirae is about what your skin can become, not just what it is today.
